The NGeco Rotor ALDHU-R 24 Powermeter-Set Road is our recommendation for those who own a Shimano crankset and are looking for a complete dual-sided powermeter. The set consists of the NGeco Powermeter Spider and the Rotor ALDHU-R 24 crankset with 24mm steel axle, which fits perfectly into the Shimano Hollowtech II bottom bracket.
The Powermeter set is the ideal partner for all those who want to convert their Shimano Ultegra or DuraAce crankset into a completely dual-sided powermeter. The NGeco measures the total power output of both legs in one sensor. Additionally, the powermeter transmits cadence without the need for an external cadence sensor. With the 110 4-S and 110 4-SL versions of the Powermeter, there is the option of continuing to use existing Shimano road chainrings to maintain shifting comfort. The 110 4-SL version also saves 30g compared to the regular 110 4-S version. The surcharge for the 110 4-SL version is 100€ (incl. VAT). The Rotor ALDHU-R crank is compatible with the Shimano Hollowtech 2 bearing standard and makes a replacement of the bottom bracket unnecessary.
The Rotor ALDHU-R 24 crankset is Rotor's stiffest, lightest and most reliable crankset. It is on the same level as Shimano's DuraAce crankset. Each crank arm is cnc-milled and hollow-drilled from a single piece.
